OUR MISSION
Mitigate the risks of insider threats
Boost Rampart reinvents company security by using: a global and mainly preventive approach based on adjusting governance; a holistic approach to strengthening processes; and an approach that is resolutely social and transparent, whilst holding people accountable.
Regardless of whether you are a shareholder (paying particular attention to risks involving reputation), or an employee (at all levels of the company),everyone will be positively affected by the legitimate, strategic, transparent and pragmatic boosting of the company’s “auto-immunity” and “team spirit” that Boost Rampart promotes.
CABINET BOOST RAMPART
Our approach
With its systemic approach, Boost Rampart’s main impact is to reinforce the resilience and loyalty of its clients’ employees in order to improve overall performance (financial, technical and managerial) particularly by strengthening cohesion, security and the overall company image in a context where risks are unpredictable and can come from anywhere.
Boost Rampart provides companies with unprecedented systemic innovative security strategies, in particular during periods of change: international development, large digitalisation and distance working, diversification towards new technologies, etc.
IN ADDITION..
Highly effective partner
Boost Rampart can be a highly effective partner in cybersecurity solutions. Indeed, its approach systemically assesses human vulnerabilities within a company, identifying those employees who might potentially attempt to override, intentionally or unintentionally, the company’s cyberdefence systems.
Boost Rampart can also supplement any security awareness-raising services provided to companies by government security agencies, whose objectives are often limited to detecting and preventing certain external public threats, without a supporting framework.
Boost Rampart fosters first and foremost “by design” preventive measures and the enhancement of the company’s interests.
WHAT’S AN INSIDER THREAT ?
An insider threat can be carried out by a current or ex-employee, a subcontractor or a company partner who, wittingly or unwittingly, takes advantages of their authorised access to conduct a malicious act that can seriously affect the company.
This may be sabotage, theft of tangible property or data, data leaks, violent behaviour in workplace, fraud, corruption or disclosure of secret information.
A few figures are given below:
53% of security incidents that affect companies are committed by insiders wishing to cause harm. Most malicious acts within a company are committed within 30 days prior to leaving the company by employees seeking revenge. 36% of data theft is committed by permanent staff and subcontractors.
(Source: Kroll 2020).
Those committing internal malicious acts are:
– in 88% of cases, permanent company staff;
– in 60% of cases, company employees recruited 5 years ago or more;
– in 76% of cases, employees having acted on their own initiative.
(Source: Carnegie Mellon University 2012)
Rather than looking for a job in which they intentionally wish to cause harm, insiders committing malicious acts see an opportunity to misuse their access rights once recruited.
(Source: Carnegie Mellon University 2012)
The reasons that motivate them are:
– in 47 % of cases, financial ;
– in 20 % of cases, ideological;
– in 14 % of cases, the need for recognition.

security boundaries
With security boundaries (tangible or cyber) often being very effectively protected, the weak link in the company is often human. An employee having access to sensitive information knows how to overcome security controls.
Made aware, but also protected by the company, employees can however become a company’s best line of defence as well as its growth.
social engineering
The exponential growth of internal and external company information systems increases the opportunities to target employees who thereby become the first casualties of hackers (social engineering).
Increasing geopolitical
Increasing geopolitical unrest means thatsome countries and companies are using particularly aggressive methods to steal secrets that subsequently allow them to increase their competitiveness.
employee-manager relationship
Younger generation employees prefer professional mobility and high flexibility, an approach that is individualistic and has a tendency to reduce loyalty and commitment towards a company. In addition, the development of distance-working weakens the employee-manager relationship.
